Jeff Belkora is a faculty member at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He runs a patient support program at the medical center there, helping people weigh the risks and benefits of their treatment options. Dr. Belkora also advises other organizations providing support for patients making life and death decisions with their doctors. He has received numerous awards recognizing his innovative ideas and was selected in 2010 as health/medical advocate of the year by the Dorland Health People Awards. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family and friends; plays soccer and basketball; and writes songs. His professional mission is to help people grow through better leadership, teamwork, and decision making.
